The fashion shoot
The photos are in the hands of everyone involved so now I can post them. The shoot was a ton of fun. The models were wonderful; they did their thing (even the ones who’d never done a shoot before) and it felt like I simply had to point my camera in their direction to get good stuff. I can’t say enough good things about them. The folks behind the models were great too: Anjanette did the makeup and hair, and Ms. Tissa provided the designs.
Last night we had a “picture release party.” Tommy Gooch, the gent who invited me to the shoot in the first place, put it all together. It was a pretty neat event. He had 13×19 prints for all the models and us photogs as well. All displayed in his friends house; it was a real event. About an hour after the party started Tommy called everyone into the media room to watch a slide show he & Mark (the fourth photographer on the shoot) had put together of all of our work. That was an odd experience for me as I got to watch and listen to people react to my work. That’s not something I’ve ever had before shooting for print and web.
